How to Buy Bitcoin with Debit/Credit Card in Nigeria
First of all, you should have a Luno account. If you don’t, simply go to www.luno.com/signup to create an account. After successfully creating an account, secure your account by enabling two steps authentication and upgrading your Luno account.
As a level 1 member on Luno, you can only do an overall transaction of 200,000 Naira. Level 2 allows you to do transactions of up to 500,000 Naira per month while a level 3 membership increases the limits to 10,000,000 per month. To upgrade your Luno account, simply click on settings after sign-in and upgrade.
So how do you buy bitcoin with your Debit/Credit card in Nigeria? Login to your Luno account and click on more (the three horizontal dots).
Click on Fund account, under “which account will you like to fund”, select “NGN account”. On the next option, click on Debit or Credit card. Enter the Naira equivalent of bitcoin you want to buy and click on next. On the next page, click on continue to Pay.
Select Card payment and enter your card details then click on the pay button. If the payment was successful, your Luno account will be funded with the amount you funded it with. Now we only have one more thing left to do. We have to convert the Naira to bitcoin.
Go back to your Luno home menu and click on Buy. Select “NGN” from the drop-down and enter the amount of bitcoin you want to buy in Naira. Click the buy button. In a few minutes, the Naira balance will be converted to bitcoin.
