The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Professor Lanre Fagbohun has rewarded the school’s security personnel for their performance during and after the University’s 22nd convocation ceremony that witnessed an attendance of high profiled Nigerians like former President, Olusegun Obasanjo and Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode.
Prof Fagbohun visited the security personnel’s parade ground to appreciate them on behalf of the entire school management for a job well done. He also encouraged the security team to maintain the peace that’s already present in the school.
The Vice-chancellor rewarded the security team with the sum of 150,000 Naira and also gave the sum of 20,000 Naira to Mr. Adebayo who won the award of “Best security man” at the convocation ceremony.
While speaking at the event Mr. K.O. Kolade, Chief Security Officer of the School said “Dear members of the Lagos State Security Team, the Vice-Chancellor has come to thank us and appreciate our contribution towards the success of the just concluded 22nd Convocation of the University. Like I used to tell you, we have a Vice-Chancellor who is fond of saying thank you for any little positive effort made’.
Also present at the official parade was the Coordinator, Centre for Information, Press and Public Relations.
