Yabatech HND screening for the 2016/2017 academic session has been set. The screening was earlier scheduled for February 14, 2017, but it has been postponed to March 1st, 2017. Note that this may be an oral screening. Your performance and other criteria’s would be considered before you will be given admission.
Yabatech HND Screening Requirements
Aspirants are to come with the following documents to the screening center;
- Original O’level results (Original and photocopy). The original is the one you got from your Secondary school or WAEC office.
- National Diploma (ND) result
- Evidence of 12 months industrial training
- Data form print out. The data form print out is what you printed after getting the form. If you have misplaced it, you can log in to the school website and reprint it.
The school didn’t announce any dress code for the Yabatech HND screening but judging from previous years, dressing corporate would be preferable.
It is after this screening that the Yabatech HND admission list for full time will come out.
Why should there be screening before the list?
Well, there are lots of candidates applying for admission. The school cannot admit all the candidates that applied to the college. So some candidates would be disqualified while some would be admitted into the school.
Candidates who were not offered admission could consider going for the HND part-time program. As at now, the form is still available.
How is the screening like?
I haven’t experienced what the screening is like but I asked someone who has and he has this to say;
It is more like an interview. The documents reqiuired would be collected from you and few questions related to the course studied during National diploma would be asked.
The style may change this year but however, be prepared for it.
The Yabatech HND screening commences by 9 am. It would be an advantage if you come earlier so as to get any information that would be passed before the screening. Information like the venue for each department.
